My Thoughts: Rambee Boo loves summer vacation at the lake and he takes his favorite sock with him everywhere. But with so many fun things to distract him, sock always seems to get left behind. Thanks to a keen-eyed mom, Rambee Book won’t go long without his beloved sock.
What a fun, relatable picture book for any family with a rambunctious dog! This sweet and funny rhyming tale follows a family on their vacation. Each scene is vividly illustrated and brings the excitement of summer vacation to life. The young characters immediately feel familiar and are endearingly consumed with enjoying every minute of their time at the lake. There’s so much fun to be had that Sock gets left in the oddest places, but never lost for too long as Mom is looking out for Rambee Boo. Every family will be reminded of that special something that, if ever lost, would be a tragedy for the child or pet that lost it. Parents will appreciate the nod to their ever-watchful eyes and children can be reminded of just how much compassion parents have for them, their best (canine) friends and all the things that matter to them, no matter how small (or slobbery!).

Meet the Author: I began writing THE RAMBEE BOO SERIES after we added a fur baby to our family, during the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine. The characters in the series are based off my youngest son Rocky (aka Rock), and our rambunctious puppy Rambo (aka Rambee Boo). Whenever there’s trouble, these two are usually at the center of it!
I graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High school in 2000 and went on to get my B.A. from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I currently live in New Jersey with my husband, my three children and of course…my Rambee Boo!
I’ve always had a great love for children’s books and started collecting them in college. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write my own series to add to our collection. I hope these books will continue to grow and foster children’s love for reading. I can only hope that my readers enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoy writing them!
