Stephanie Ward has been writing in various forms for the last 20 years working in public relations and marketing for Fortune 100 companies in the U.S. and France. While she worked, she also wrote travel articles for various online outlets and was a contributor to the book Tana’s Habitat: The Ultimate Guide to Finding, Affording and Styling Your First Place.

Stephanie now focuses her time on writing for children. Two of her picture books are scheduled for release in 2019. (It’s all under wraps at the moment, but stay tuned for details!) Her stories have been published in the 2016 Creative Kids Tales Anthology and the 2016 CJ Dennis Poetry Anthology. To date, she has five award-winning picture book manuscripts to her name.

In addition, after traveling around the world for a year, Stephanie decided to self-publish a picture book about the Galapagos Islands entitled Wally the Warm-Weather Penguin.

Due to ever-present wanderlust, Stephanie has lived in San Francisco, New York, Paris, Seattle and Sydney. Currently, she lives in London, England with her husband and young son.

She is a current member of SCBWI British Isles. During her time in Australia, she was a member of SCBWI Australia East and New Zealand, the NSW Writer’s Centre and was a book reviewer for the Children’s Book Council of Australia.
