What a charmer! This darling picture follows a confident young cook on her quest to make the perfect sandwich. As she carefully chooses the ingredients, she shows her companions all the steps involved in making a sandwich in the sweetest way. But it’s not so easy to make lunch when you have a mischievous cat and hungry dog waiting for their chance to gobble up the fillings. With warm, inviting illustrations that create a perfect atmosphere for the story, How to Make a Sandwich is a visual delight — a sweet picture book that speaks to all little chefs and exudes the warmth found in a loving family. Definitely recommended!

When Lorena graduated years ago with a BFA in Graphic Design and Painting, she never imagined she’d become an Information Architect in high-tech. She thought her creativity was lost until she was rescued by an Australian Shepherd named Phebe. Inspired by Phebe’s antics, Lorena started drawing again, leading to the creation of Phebe-n-Me, a t-shirt company that eventually blossomed into a children’s book!
